Gandhari Khilla is an ancient hill fort located near Bokkalagutta village in Mandamarri Mandal, Mancherial district, Telangana. Built around the 12th century by Gond tribal kings with assistance from the Kakatiya rulers of Warangal, the fort sits atop sand rock hills amidst dense forests rich in medicinal plants.
The fort has not been fully excavated and remains partially covered by forest, preserving its structure and biodiversity. It features ancient temples dedicated to deities such as Maisamma, Kala Bhairava Swamy, Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, and Hanuman, along with rock-carved idols including a notable eight-foot-tall Naga Seshu.
Architecturally, the fort includes intricately carved gates and pillars in the Kakatiya style, and it contains several wells, including one specifically designed for elephants and horses.
