One of the highlights is the Silk Robe of Shehzada Salim, son of Mughal Emperor Akbar II. The museum also features galleries dedicated to local arts and crafts, textiles, carpets, and Jain sculptures.
The District Library, known as the Anup Library, is part of the museum complex and contains valuable and rare Sanskrit manuscripts dating back to the Deccan rule of Raja Anup Singh during the 17th century. The library also houses litho prints of the British Empire and other historical documents.
