Gulab Bagh
Gulab Bagh, also known as Sajjan Niwas Garden, is the largest garden in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Spread over 100 acres, the garden is famous for its abundance of roses, which is how it got its name. Gulab Bagh is a peaceful retreat with lush greenery, beautiful flowers, and a variety of attractions, including ponds, a library, a zoological park, temples, and government offices.
One of the highlights of Gulab Bagh is the Saraswati Library, which was originally a museum known as Victoria Hall Museum. It now houses books related to history, archaeology, Indology, and several manuscripts dating back to the early medieval period. The library also features a large-sized idol of Queen Victoria, carved in white marble.
