Jaswant Singh Ki Chatri, located in Balkeshwar, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, is a historic cenotaph built between 1644 and 1658 AD. This domed, pillared pavilion reflects traditional Rajasthani architecture and was constructed by Raja Jaswant Singh Rathore in memory of Rani Hada, the wife of Amar Singh Rathore.
The structure is situated along the banks of the Yamuna River and is now maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India as a monument of national importance.
The chhatri is a blend of Mughal and Hindu architectural styles, featuring intricate jali (lattice) work and red sandstone pillars. It is surrounded by a rectangular baradari (pavilion) and originally had staircases descending into the river. The site holds historical significance as it commemorates Rani Hada's act of sati, a traditional practice of self-immolation.
