Kheoni Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area located in Dewas and Sehore districts of Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1974, it spans 134.778 square kilometers and serves as a corridor connecting Ratapani Tiger Reserve.
The sanctuary is home to tigers, leopards, jungle cats, jackals, striped hyenas, nilgai, blackbuck, chinkara, chital, sambar, wild boar, barking deer, and four-horned antelope.
The forest consists of dry deciduous teak, tendu, and bamboo trees, creating a rich habitat for wildlife. A bird survey in 2018 recorded around 125 species, including the Indian paradise flycatcher, plum-headed parakeet, Eurasian collared dove, and laughing dove.
