The Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Karimnagar, Telangana, also known as the Dharmapuri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, is a revered shrine dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and his consort Goddess Lakshmi.

The temple is situated on the southern banks of the River Godavari, also known as Dakshina Ganga, in the town of Dharmapuri. The temple has a rich history dating back to before 850-928 BC. It is one of the nine Narasimha Khetrams and is known as the Dakshina Kasi or the Banaras of southern India due to its spiritual significance.

The temple features two different idols of Lord Narasimha: the oldest one called Pata Narasimha Swamy and the newer one called Kotha Narasimha Swamy.

The temple is famous for its unique depiction of Lord Narasimha in a yogic posture, seated in Pad asana with palms bending on his knees. The temple premises also house various sculptures of Gods and Goddesses, including eight idols of Hanuman and a six-feet-tall idol of Lord Brahma.

The temple celebrates several annual festivals, including the Brahmotsavam Jathara, which is attended by devotees with great devotion. The serene environment and the spiritual ambiance of the temple make it a popular pilgrimage site for devotees from across the region.
