Malvan Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Malvan Marine Sanctuary, is located in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra and is the state's only marine sanctuary. Established in 1987, it covers about 29.2 square kilometers and includes diverse coastal and marine ecosystems such as coral reefs, rocky and intertidal zones, and mangroves.
