Mora Fort
Mora Fort is a small hill fort located in the Baglan area of Nashik district, Maharashtra, situated on the Selbari hill range near Mulher Fort. The fort was built to keep watch on the ancient commercial road connecting Burhanpur and Surat, making it strategically important for trade and defense.
Mora Fort features two rock-cut gates, rock-cut water cisterns, and caves, along with a path made of rock-cut steps. Despite its small size, the fort offers panoramic views of nearby forts such as Mangi-Tungi, Salher, Salota, Hargad, Mulher, and Nhavigad. The fort is accessible from the village of Mulher, with a steep one-hour climb needed to reach the top.
There are no significant constructions on the fort, and a lack of reliable water sources means visitors should carry sufficient water.
