National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai (NIFT Mumbai) is a premier government fashion institute under India's Ministry of Textiles, established in 1995 in Kharghar Sector 4, Navi Mumbai, Raigad district, Maharashtra, about 35 km from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
Spanning over 10 acres, it offers undergraduate B.Des programs in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Accessory Design, Knitwear Design, and Fashion Communication, B.F.Tech in Apparel Production, plus postgraduate M.F.M, M.F.Tech, and M.Des courses, with admissions via the NIFT entrance exam including CAT, GAT, and situation tests.
