Pithoragarh Fort, also known as London Fort, is located on a hill on the outskirts of Pithoragarh town in Uttarakhand. It was built during the Chand period by Peeru Alias Prithwi Gusain and later reconstructed by the Gorkhas in 1789 after their invasion. The fort served as a military outpost to safeguard the region, especially controlling trade routes between Kumaon and Tibet.

It covers an area of about 1300 square meters with thick walls around 6-7 feet high and has numerous firing holes for defense. Though currently in a dilapidated condition, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The fort historically served administrative purposes and is now being restored to attract tourists, with plans to include a museum showcasing local heritage.

It is accessible by road and close to Naini Saini Airport, making it a notable historic landmark in the region.
