The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) initiated reconstruction in 2006, resulting in two parallel three-lane bridges. The Blue Line of the Nagpur Metro now runs along the center of the eastern bridge, making it a unique integration of road and rail infrastructure. It’s located near Kasturchand Park Metro Station and is easily accessible from Nagpur Junction Railway Station, just about half a kilometer away.
