Rani Kamlapati Palace, also known as Kamlapati Palace, is a historical monument located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Built in 1722 by Rani Kamlapati, the widow of the Gond ruler Nizam Shah, the palace is situated on the bridge connecting the Upper Lake and Lower Lake.
It is one of the earliest examples of secular architecture in Bhopal and has been designated as a Monument of National Importance by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
The palace features double-storied construction with cusped arches supported on fluted pillars, lotus petal-shaped merlons, and brackets supporting the Chhajjas. The architecture reflects a blend of Hindu and Mughal styles, making it a unique historical site.
