Reiek Tlang, also known simply as Reiek, is one of the highest hills in Mizoram, standing at an elevation of 1,465 meters (4,806 feet). Located about 29 kilometers from Aizawl, it offers panoramic views of the city and the surrounding valleys. The hill is a popular tourist destination and a haven for nature lovers and trekkers.

The journey to the summit is a fantastic hiking experience, best enjoyed on calm, sunny days. Along the way, you'll find a heritage village that showcases the traditional Mizo way of life, including distinctive huts, a chieftain's house, and a bachelor's dormitory.

The village is maintained by the Tourism Department of Mizoram and provides a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region. Reiek Tlang is also home to a variety of hill birds, including the rare Peregrine Falcon, making it a great spot for birdwatching. The peak offers breathtaking views, and on clear days, you can even see the plains of Bangladesh in the distance.
