Safdarjung Tomb, located in New Delhi, Delhi, is a sandstone and marble mausoleum built in 1754 for Nawab Safdarjung, the Prime Minister of the Mughal Empire under Emperor Ahmad Shah Bahadur.
The tomb is considered the last garden tomb of the Mughal era, reflecting the architectural grandeur of its time. The structure features a large central dome, arched entrances, and a charbagh-style garden, similar to earlier Mughal tombs like Humayun’s Tomb.
Inside, the tomb follows the "eight paradises" (hasht bihisht) layout, with eight rooms surrounding the main chamber. The complex also includes Moti Mahal, Badshah Pasand, Jangli Mahal, and a madrasa, adding to its historical significance.
