Sanjay Gandhi National Park(Borivili)

Sanjay Gandhi National Park, located in Borivili within Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, is a large urban national park covering about 103 square kilometers. Established initially as a reserved forest in 1869, it was declared a national park in 1969 and renamed in 1996 in honor of Sanjay Gandhi. The park is unique for being one of the largest protected green areas situated entirely within a major city.
