The Sri Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Temple is located in Omkar Ashrama Mahasamasthana, Omkar Hills, Shrinivasapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka. This temple is unique as it houses the 12 representative Jyotirlingas of the original twelve Jyotirlingas, each with its own Garbhagraha and Vimanagopuram. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the most magnificent and gigantic temples in Karnataka.
The temple was founded by Brahmaleena Sadguru Sri Shivapuri Mahaswamiji with the intention of providing an opportunity for devotees to have darshan of all the Jyotirlingas in one place. The construction of the temple began in 2002 and continued for several years, although it was not completed before Sri Shivapuri Mahaswamiji attained Samadhi in 2007. His disciple, Sri Madhusudhanananda Puri Swamiji, continued the work and completed the temple.
The temple complex also includes other temples such as the Sri Matsya Narayana temple, Sri Vanadurga temple, Sri Nagadevatha temple, Sri Muneeshwara temple, and a Goshala (cow shelter). It is a significant pilgrimage site and offers a unique spiritual experience for devotees.
