Takling La is a 5,575-meter (18,291-foot) mountain pass located in the Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. It is a parallel route to the Parang La pass and connects the Spiti Valley to Ladakh. The pass was historically used as a trade route between Spiti and Ladakh during the 19th century.
