The Tripura State Tribal Museum is located within the premises of the Tribal Research and Cultural Institute in Agartala, West Tripura. Established on September 23, 2009, the museum aims to promote and preserve the rich heritage and culture of the indigenous tribes of Tripura.

The museum features a variety of exhibits, including tribal life dioramas, miscellaneous artifacts, touch screen kiosks, natural history displays, art and crafts, and anthropology and folk art sections.

Visitors can explore the diverse cultural practices, traditional costumes, and unique artifacts of the 19 tribal communities in Tripura. The museum also houses a library with historical collections, periodicals, journals, and books related to art, culture, mythology, and biography.
