Udayan Buddha Vihara is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Tripura, located in Pecharthal, near Kumarghat in the Unakoti district.

Established in 1933, the temple is a significant religious site for Buddhists in the region. The main idol, made of Osto Dhatu (a combination of eight metals), stands at 4.5 feet and weighs 300 kg.

The temple attracts hundreds of devotees during Buddha Jayanti (Buddha Purnima) in April/May, celebrating the birth of Buddha with various rituals and prayers. It's a peaceful and serene place, offering a glimpse into the rich Buddhist heritage of Tripura.
