VOC Park, also known as V.O. Chidambaranar Park, is a well-known recreational park located in Erode, Tamil Nadu. The park was built in 1912 by Chairman Srinivasa Mudaliar during the British India period and was initially named Srinivasaa Park.
It was later renamed in honor of V.O. Chidambaranar, a prominent freedom fighter. The park is spread over 25 acres and is maintained by the Erode Municipal Corporation. It features lush green gardens, two lakes, fountains, and walkways, making it an ideal spot for families and visitors to relax and enjoy outdoor activities.
The park also houses a mini-zoo, although it was closed in 2007 due to maintenance issues. In addition to the natural beauty and recreational facilities, VOC Park hosts various cultural and sports events throughout the year.
