Hardoi is a district located in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP), India. It is situated in the Awadh region and falls under the Lucknow Division. The district's administrative headquarters is also named Hardoi. Geographically, Hardoi is positioned at a latitude of 27.42°N and a longitude of 80.12°E. It spans an area of approximately 5,986 square kilometers. The district is surrounded by Sitapur, Lucknow, Unnao, Kanpur, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Shahjahanpur, and Lakhimpur Kheri districts.
