Bagnath Temple Bageshwar

The Bagnath Temple, also known as Shri Bageshwar Mahadev Mandir, is a prominent Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the town of Bageshwar, Uttarakhand.

This ancient temple is situated at the confluence of the Sarayu and Gomati rivers, which adds to its spiritual significance. It is believed that the temple was built by the Kumaon ruler, Laxmi Chand, in 1450 AD, although some legends suggest that a temple existed here as early as the 7th century.
