Bandra Talao, also known as Swami Vivekanand Talao, is a small lake located in Bandra, Mumbai. The lake, which spans 7.5 acres, was formerly known as Lotus Tank and Motha Sarovar. It is a Grade II heritage structure and was constructed by Mst. Iqbal Ghavte, a wealthy Konkani Muslim from the nearby village of Navpada.
The lake is surrounded by steel railings on three sides, and the side facing S.V. Road has an entrance with palm trees and seating provisions. It's a peaceful spot where you can see people fishing and feeding pigeons. The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai maintains the lake, and it has been a part of the community for over 200 years.
