Bareed Shahi Park
Bareed Shahi Park is a historical site in Bidar, Karnataka, known for its connection to the Barid Shahi dynasty. The park is part of the Barid Shahi Tombs complex, which houses the tombs of rulers from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The tombs, built in Indo-Islamic architectural style, are set within a 55-acre garden, featuring mango and tamarind trees. The most prominent tomb in the complex is that of Ali Barid Shah, completed in 1576-1577 CE, three years before his death.
His tomb is accompanied by 67 graves, believed to belong to his concubines. Other notable tombs include those of Qasim Barid Shah I, Amir Barid, Ibrahim Barid, and Qasim Barid II.
