The temple is unique as it houses a zoo within its premises, featuring a variety of animals, birds, peacocks, turkeys, deer, rabbits, monkeys, stags, elephants, bulls, and horses. The main attraction is the 62-inch tall idol of Goddess Annapoorneshwari made of Panchaloha (a traditional five-metal alloy). The temple also has a 71-foot tall statue of Sanjivini Hanumanta under construction.
