Hulikal ghat or Balebare ghat is the mountain range around the village, connecting coastal Udupi district with Shivamogga district. The area is characterized by dense forests, waterfalls, and vibrant nature, making it a scenic spot especially during the monsoon season from May to November when rainfall is extremely heavy.
