The Jamiya Masjid, also known as the Jama Masjid, is one of the largest and most significant mosques in Vijayapura (Bijapur), Karnataka. Built by Ali Adil Shah I in 1578, the mosque was constructed to commemorate the victory of the Deccan Sultanates over the Vijayanagara Empire at the Battle of Talikota.
