The park was developed in 2014 and named after Janeshwar Mishra, a prominent politician from the Samajwadi Party.
The park features lush greenery, lakes, jogging tracks, cycling paths, and a sports center, making it a popular spot for morning walks, picnics, and recreational activities. A 25-foot statue of Janeshwar Mishra, designed by Edward Breathhitt, stands within the premises.
