Kaneri Math, also known as Siddhagiri Gramjivan Sangrahalaya, is an open-air museum located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It showcases different aspects of village life through lifelike cement sculptures. The museum was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's vision and depicts the self-sufficient village life in Maharashtra before the Mughal invasion.
The museum covers 7 acres and features almost 80 scenes with over 300 statues representing various village activities, such as farming, blacksmithing, and daily household tasks. It's a fascinating place to learn about traditional village life and the roles of different artisans and workers in the community.
