Khasbag Maidan, also known as Rajarshi Shahu Khasbag Wrestling Stadium, is a historic wrestling stadium located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Built by Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, it is one of the largest open-air wrestling stadiums in India, with a seating capacity of around 30,000 people. The stadium is known for hosting various wrestling competitions, including the prestigious Hind Kesari championship.
The stadium is situated about 1 kilometer south-east of the Mahalaxmi Temple and 8 kilometers south-west of the Central Bus Stand in Kolhapur. It features a circular design with a wrestling ring at the center, surrounded by seating arrangements. There is also a special seating area for members of the royal family.
