Maharaja N N Park, also known as Narendra Narayan Park, is one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. Established in 1892 by Maharaja Nripendra Narayan, the park was named in honor of his father, Narendra Narayan.
Covering an area of 5.7 hectares, including a 1-hectare water body, the park is a botanical garden that offers a serene environment for recreation and botanical studies.
The park is home to a variety of trees and plants, including palm, Debdaru, Kaamini, Bakul, Hijal, Kadam, Haritaki, Segun, Bougainvillaea, and Nagalingam trees. It also features topiary sculptures of elephants, dogs, peacocks, and other creatures, adding to its charm.
Visitors can enjoy activities such as boating, zorbing, and exploring the toy train and swings.
One of the highlights of the park is the statue of Maharaja Nripendra Narayan, unveiled in 2013 on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary.
