Mrugavani National Park is a protected wildlife area located in Chilkur, Moinabad Mandal, about 20 km from Hyderabad. Covering 1,211 acres, the park was declared a national park in 1994 to conserve the native flora and fauna of the Deccan region.
It is home to 350 spotted deer and a variety of wildlife, including Indian hare, jungle cats, civets, Indian rat snakes, Russell's vipers, and chital. The park also boasts over 100 species of birds, such as peacocks, warblers, lapwings, and flower peckers.
