It serves as the headquarters of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), one of the oldest and largest stock exchanges in Asia.
The building was originally named BSE Towers but was renamed in memory of Sir Phiroze Jamshedji Jeejeebhoy, who was the chairman of the BSE from 1966 until his death. The Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers is an iconic landmark in Mumbai's financial district and has played a significant role in the city's economic history.
