Pilikula Biological Park
The Pilikula Biological Park, part of the larger Pilikula Nisarga Dhama in Mangalore, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, is a major attraction for nature enthusiasts and families. Spread over 370 acres, the park includes a variety of attractions such as a tropical forest, Pilikula Lake, a Science Centre, an Arboretum, a Lake Park with a Boating Centre, a Water Amusement Park, and even a Golf Course.
The Biological Park itself is home to around 1200 animals of 120 different species, including mammals, reptiles, and birds. It is recognized by the Central Zoo Authority of India and is known for its efforts in breeding endangered species, including the King Cobra.
The park also features spacious enclosures designed to closely resemble the animals' natural habitats.
