The Shri Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a modern marvel built in 2009 by the Odia community. Located in Banjara Hills, this temple is a replica of the famous Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, and is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, along with his siblings Balabhadra and Subhadra.
The temple's architecture is a stunning example of Kalinga-style design, featuring intricate carvings and a striking 70-foot-high Shikhara (spire). Over 600 tons of sandstone were brought from Odisha to construct this masterpiece, and the idols of the deities are also carved from wood, similar to the original temple in Puri.
The temple complex includes shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesh, and Hanuman, among others.
