The Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Temple, located in Dharmasthala, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Manjunatha, a form of Lord Shiva. The temple is unique as it is administered by a Jain Bunt family, the Pergades, while the priests are Madhwa Brahmins, who are Vaishnavas. This blend of religious traditions is a testament to the temple's inclusive and harmonious ethos.
The temple complex also houses deities of Hindu goddess Ammanavaru, the Jain Tirthankara Chandraprabha, and the protective gods of Jainism, Kalarahu, Kalarkayi, Kumarasvami, and Kanyakumari. The temple was reconsecrated in the 16th century by the Hindu Dvaita saint Vadiraja Tirtha, following a request by the then administrator, Devaraja Heggade.
