TIDEL Park is one of the largest information technology parks in Asia, located on Rajiv Gandhi Salai in Taramani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was inaugurated on July 4, 2000, by the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi. The park was developed as a joint venture between TIDCO and ELCOT to foster the growth of the IT industry in the state.
The park is a 13-storied building with a built-up area of 1,280,000 sq ft and features centralized air-conditioning, an independent power supply, and a thermal energy storage system for air-conditioning.
It houses various facilities such as an auditorium, conference hall, food court, health clubs, and department stores. TIDEL Park provides office spaces ranging from small offices to entire floors, catering to the needs of different companies.
