The Taraporewala Aquarium in Mumbai, located on Marine Drive, is India's oldest public aquarium, established in 1951. Named after Parsi philanthropist D.B. Taraporewala, who funded its construction, the aquarium showcases over 400 species of marine and freshwater fish, including rare varieties like sharks, turtles, rays, clownfish, and various tropical fishes.
