Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the South Tripura district of Tripura, India, is a protected area established in 1988. Covering an area of approximately 194.7 square kilometers, the sanctuary is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The sanctuary features three types of forests: Tropical Semi-Evergreen Forest, Moist Mixed Deciduous Forest, and Savannah Woodland.
Visitors to Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary can spot a variety of wildlife, including the Indian Gaur (Bison), Hoolock Gibbon, Golden Langur, Capped Langur, and numerous bird species such as the Pheasant-tailed Jacana and White-breasted Kingfisher. The sanctuary also boasts numerous perennial water bodies and grasslands, providing a rich habitat for its inhabitants.
