Yashwant Stadium (Football)

Yashwant Stadium in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is one of the oldest and largest football stadiums in the state, constructed between 1970 and 1974. With a seating capacity of around 30,000 and a standing capacity of up to 50,000, it has historically hosted major local football events like the Nagpur Premier League, attracting large crowds.

The stadium is located in the Dhantoli area and was once a vibrant center for sports, especially football, as well as various cultural programs and public events. However, over time, the stadium has suffered from neglect and inadequate maintenance, leading to deteriorating infrastructure and safety concerns.
