This museum is dedicated to the works of the celebrated sculptor Nanasaheb Karmarkar. He was a pioneer in Indian sculpture and is renowned for his intricate and lifelike sculptures.
The museum features more than 150 beautifully carved sculptures, including pieces depicting mythology, history, culture, nature, and human emotions. Some notable exhibits include the large bronze statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on horseback and the life-size statue of Lokmanya Tilak.
The museum is located in Karmarkar's own bungalow and offers a glimpse into his life and artistic journey. It is open to visitors every day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the entry fee is a nominal ₹10 per person.
